Why We Gather
Celebrating Community, Empowering Growth
About the Kickoff & Conference

This year’s theme is: “Presence & Progress: The Art of Engaged Homeschooling.” Our vision is to unite the homeschool community in celebration, showing parents and children that they are part of a vibrant, thriving network. We believe that when families come together, they create a powerful support system that not only nurtures learning but also reaffirms that no one is ever truly alone in their journey.

History
At The Heart of it All
Our Story

The Back-to-Homeschool Kickoff & Conference began as the Back to Homeschool Bash in 2016. I started the event simply to show my oldest daughter that she wasn’t alone in the homeschool community and I was amazed to discover how eager families were to come together and bond. Over the years, our gatherings expanded into a variety of events, trips, clubs, and classes, eventually evolving into the annual conference we host today.

At the heart of the event, we strive to start the homeschool year with parents feeling empowered, encouraged, and prepared, while students are excited, optimistic, and ready for the adventure ahead.
