Personal Information

I moved to the US from Costa Rica back in 2007. We moved to offer our kids a better education among other things.

After having my kids in the public school system I was not happy with several things and decided to pull them out and homeschool.

I had been homeschooled myself from 1st through 4th grade so I thought why not?
Having a blended family at the time with 7 children with grades ranging from kindergarten through 10th. Homeschooling has definitely been a journey and I am always happy to share my experiences and help other parents who choose to take this journey.

Homeschooling is a journey we must look at it as that. Learn what works and what doesn't. Be willing to be flexible and adapt, and never be afraid to ask for help because you are not alone.
